The "Kings" of Rock & Roll have influenced every single artist and band that has produced music during the past two decades. Everyone knows who the "Kings" are by name - but we're used to hearing just their most popular music on the radio. Below is a list of the BEST songs by the BEST musicians of all-time.

The Rolling Stones are my favorite band. Led Zeppelin was the BEST live band ever; sometimes you can't tell it's live until the song's over and the crowd applauds. The Beatles played every type of music from rock to blues and mastered the art of compiling and remixing music. Pink Floyd, Traveling Wilburys, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doors, Aerosmith, and even The Grateful Dead are all immortal bands that will never die.

I also label solo albums by a few elite rockers or by any members of these bands with the "Kings" genre: John Lennon, Roger Waters, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, and a few more.

Although Elvis WAS "The King", I group him alongside The Beatles and Frank Sinatra in the "Antiques" genre. I would've grouped Elvis (and The Beatles) with the "Oldies" genre, but they're just too good to get watered down with played-out oldies.
